AudioFlex is an audio processing tool that takes music files you already own and optimizes them to perform better on your car audio system. It works by shifting the bass content of your music toward your subwoofer enclosure's tuning frequency, splitting the audio into frequency bands, filtering out inaudible low-frequency content, and leveling the output for a consistent volume across tracks.
Think of it as having a professional audio engineer tune every song in your library specifically for your car's system.
No -- and that is intentional. AudioFlex is a processing tool, not a content service. You bring your own music: MP3s, FLACs, and WAVs from your personal collection. AudioFlex processes whatever files you give it.
This means no catalog restrictions, no "the song you want is not available," no copyright issues, and your library is always current because it is your music.
Yes. After your initial one-time license activation, AudioFlex runs completely offline. The live player, batch converter, and all processing functions work without any internet connection. It works at shows, competitions, and anywhere else you do not have WiFi.
Catalog apps and USB packs are content businesses. They process and sell you music from their own library. If a track is not in their collection, you cannot use it. Their processing is fixed for a generic average system, not yours specifically.
AudioFlex is a tool. It processes any music you own, with settings tuned to your specific enclosure. It is the difference between buying someone else's cooked food and owning the kitchen.
No. The default settings work well for most builds. The main thing you need to know is your enclosure's tuning frequency -- the Hz your ported box is tuned to, such as 32 Hz or 35 Hz. Set that in Settings under Pitch Settings and you are ready to use the live player.
Advanced settings like crossover frequency, compression parameters, and stereo width are available if you want to fine-tune, but they are entirely optional.
AudioFlex reads MP3, FLAC, and WAV files. Batch conversion outputs MP3 files. The live player streams processed audio in real time. ID3 metadata tags -- title, artist, album, genre -- are read and used by the search function.
All users receive updates at no extra charge, including new features as they are added.
You receive a license file tied to your Device ID, delivered by email after purchase. Load this file in the app on first launch and your account is activated. Updates are included at no additional cost. See the activation guide for step-by-step instructions.
Yes. License transfers are free. Transfer it here. Your old device will be deactivated.
A single license includes 5 activations (one for each platform: Android, iOS, Windows, MacOS, Linux).
Set the Target Frequency to match your enclosure's tuning frequency -- the frequency your ported box was designed for. Cabin gain may result in different peak frequencies. You may also use the tone generator (Settings → Tone Generator) to sweep from 20 to 60 Hz. The frequency that feels loudest and most pressurized inside your car is close to your tune.
In most cases, start between 30 and 40 Hz and adjust by ear. See the tuning guide for more detail.
A typical 3 to 4 minute track processes in under 15 seconds on most modern Android phones. The live player processes the next track in the background while the current one plays, so there is no waiting between songs.
Yes. The Settings Profiles feature lets you save and reload a complete set of settings with a name. Configure AudioFlex for one enclosure, save it as a profile, then switch to a different profile for a different build. See the profiles guide for steps.
You have two options. Use the live player on your phone directly -- it runs completely offline so no WiFi is needed. Or use batch convert ahead of time to process your tracks, then you may copy the output files to a USB drive or sync them to an Android or iOS device. The USB files are standard MP3s that play on any head unit without AudioFlex installed.
AudioFlex requires Android 8.0 or higher and is tested on Android 12 through 16. Older versions may work but are not officially supported. A device with at least 3 GB of RAM is recommended for smooth live player performance with large music libraries.
